Governor’s Cabinet: Deadline to submit December 2, 2011
| Governor's Cabinet |
The Governor's Cabinet will be composed of 15 members. The Governor will appoint 3 members and the other 12 will be the runners-up in district elections for Governor, House Speaker, and President Pro Tem nominees. The Governor may appoint persons to fill vacancies in the Cabinet. |
• Assist the Governor in reviewing bills and helping the Governor determine which bills should be signed or vetoed
• Assist the Governor in deciding which bills should be signed or vetoed
• Assist Governor in decisions on bills by interviewing authors and other persons on value and intent of Bills
• Represent the Governor before Hearing Committees
• Assisting the Governor and Legislature in other ways that may be determined by the Cabinet and the advisor |

If you have a Governor, House Speaker, and President Pro Tem candidates please let them know about the Governor’s Cabinet. If they are not interested, please identify other students that will make good members of the Cabinet to apply.
