Conference Quick Facts
 
High School State Conference is on January 26-29, 2012(Thursday-Sunday).
Renaissance Austin Hotel is the official conference hotel.  Address:  9721 Arboretum Boulevard · Austin, Texas 78759 USA
Conference Staff, key leaders and Student Officers need to arrive on Wednesday, January 25, 2012.  State Officers need to arrive by 1 PM.  Wednesday night stay will be covered by State.
Each District Director will determine a transportation plan for their delegations (clubs) to Austin, TX.
Delegations need to arrive between 4:30 PM-6 PM on Thursday.
Check-in will not open until 4:30 PM.  It is important that those delegates that arrive prior to the time check-in opens
Bus Drivers need to unload on the side of the hotel (right before the main entrance).
Registration will open at 4 PM in the Rio Grande Room.
Luggage rooms will be located on the lobby level.
The Renaissance Austin Hotel works hard to have our rooms ready as quickly as they can be made available.  However, please note that if another group is there the night before, there will be a delay in getting hotel rooms by the time you check in. Your patience is appreciated.
  Dinner is on your own Thursday evening.  Delegation leaders need to make dinner plans.   Please note that students in House, Senate, Candidates and Media will meet before the rest of the delegates. Make sure students in these sections eat prior to their meeting.
Conference Agenda and this Delegate Handbook will be posted on the website and a copy will be provided at registration.
It is important to be aware of the dress code.  All adults and students must follow it.  Review the Dress Code and the list of what to bring.
Thursday is Red, White and Blue Business casual.  It is suggested that students & adults come dressed already in this attire in case rooms are not ready.

On Sunday, delegations will leave at the designated time that their District Director indicates.
All must be out of the hotel rooms by 10 AM on Sunday.
